Common questions
Will I actually flip in my first lesson?
Most students do — even if they’re scared. Fear is normal and expected. You’ll get as many coached attempts as you need to feel confident.
Is it worth driving from Seattle or Bellevue?
Seattle and Bellevue students say yes. Some come weekly from Kent. The equipment and coaching level are hard to match anywhere closer.
How long until I can flip on grass?
Around 200–500 reps. At ~20 flips per class, that’s roughly 10 weeks of weekly training.
Can you teach other flips too?
Yes — front flip, back handspring, and aerial are all available.
Can I see your previous students?
Sure…
What can I expect in class?
We will warm-up, do critical exercises for legs and abs to backflip. Then we do drills to ingrain the correct technique followed by spotted backflips then flipping on your own. This video shows you what to expect and how to prepare at home.
