Frequently Asked Questions
Is it worth the drive? You are in Everett!
People from Seattle and Bellevue say yes! I have students from Kent make the trip weekly to learn from me. Students have flown from out of state to learn backflip say it was worth it. It’s worth it for two main reasons, I teach in competitive gymnastics gym with all the right equipment like foam pits. Secondly, I am one of the few in the Seattle area that will teach and spot adults and have been doing it for over a decade.
How long before I can backflip?
Most people learn to back flip into the foam pit their first lesson. Back flipping onto a squishy mat takes 3-4 lessons or about 40 backflips. Backflip onto grass takes about 10 or more lessons or about 60-150 backflips. Most people have the stamina for 10-20 backflips per lesson.
What if I’m scared to flip during the lesson?
A little fear is normal, if I’m doing my job right you feel comfortable very quickly. After 2-3 flips it is exhilarating then tiring.
What If I want to learn a different type of flip?
I can also teach you front flip, back/front handspring and aerial.
